In a world in constant competition, the more information is collected about people, the more power is obtained about them. As fast as light, our data circulates around the world to become part of an archived data system. The fibers with which we can interact with in Ànima become symbols of collective information which reminds us that we belong to one system. The lights you see coming from thousands of optical fibers, indicate that we are all equally and in distinctly linked to one digital soul.
CONSTRUCTION
The large installation is made of a wooden structure 20 meters long and 4 meters high. Over 3,000 fiber optic strands will be hung from the ceiling, illuminated by light sources from the top. This evocative space will allow the audience to pass through this passage of fiber optic strands, interact with them and live this immersive experience that will make them feel part of the journey that the data goes.
